Activation
Once the attendee receives the device, the client has to be activated. The client has been provisioned for the conference (e.g. conference ID has been stored on the client) before shipped to the conference. The user has to then activate the client for his/her personal use during the conference.
The user will have a permanent account with ConfPal.com, at which the user can manage his/her conference data.
For new user (who is not already a member of confpal.com), the user has to create a new account (username, display name, email, password). Email address verification can happen later.
For existing users, the user has to login with his username/email.
Once registered or logged in, the client receives a security ticket from the host. The ticket is to be used for authentication purpose during the conference.
